Climate and Biodiversity Claim Integrity

We quantify additionality risk, permanence risk and over-crediting risk when we design the project, then manage them actively for the life of the asset. We base every biodiversity claim on evidence, monitor it scientifically and report it. We apply methodologies based on the best available science, from registry operators approved under the ICVCM’s Core Carbon Principles. We aim to track restoration progress against measures of ecosystem integrity, including structure, composition and function, each measured against natural baselines.

Social Engagement and Transformative Benefit Sharing

We treat host communities as partners in each project. From day one the project structure carries four things: revenue-sharing payments; contracts and wages for the life of the project; local contracting and enterprise development; and an Impact Trust Fund, or local equivalent, that channels a share of carbon credit revenue to priorities the community sets. We design community benefit into the structure rather than adding it as a line item added at the end.

Front-end loading before FID: we map ecological baselines, understand community needs, plan execution, and model and cost the variables and risks before we commit to commencement. We then run execution management, health and safety, scheduling, cost control, procurement, risk management and governance to the standard a major capital project demands. We control on-the-ground management, nurseries, planting crews, ecological monitoring, community liaison, MRV and asset optimisation in-house, from seedling to restored ecosystem.

Trees cannot just be planted and left. Ecosystem restoration is a mutli-decade undertaking, and restoration sites need professional stewardship for the full life of the project to ensure optimal outcomes. We commit permanently to fire management, invasive species control, biodiversity optimisation, replanting and continuous ecological monitoring. Carbon and biodiversity claims are only as good as the long-term management of the restored ecosystem.

We combine remote sensing with our own field verification and digital monitoring, integrated into a single reporting platform. Our technology stack blends proprietary, in-house AI tools with tried and tested major-projects and infrastructure technology platforms, and integrates third- party remote sensing and machine learning.
